Crowne Plaza has consulted global expertise to create an industry leading cleaning procedure known as the IHG Clean Promise. Our Guest Journey has been developed to ensure that you have a comfortable, memorable and safe experience with us. During your stay, several elements of your experience have been adapted. These measures such as physical distancing, minimising guest to guest contact and team member to guest contact, hygiene etiquette such as hand sanitising and use of PPE are employed to ensure your safety, comfort and peace of mind so that you may fully relax and enjoy your experience with us.
A Warm Welcome Awaits You
A warm welcome awaits you at Crowne Plaza Belfast and you will be welcomed by one of our friendly team members who will direct you to a sanitising station. An adapted check in service will be provided to minimise contact where you will collect your guestroom keys at a screened reception kiosk and our team members will advise you on the arrangements for the rest of your stay with us.
Our Guest Public Areas & Getting to your Room
Our team members will assist you with directions to your guestroom which can be accessed by the staircase or by the lift. Lift occupancy will be limited to one person or one family group at a time and hand sanitisers will be located at each lift lobby. We will encourage guests not to congregate at lobbies and entrance areas. We also always ask guests to maintain their own physical distancing and keep to the left-hand side of all corridors when making your way to and from your guestroom. Our public areas will have increased frequency of cleaning and sanitising to ensure your safety, comfort and welfare. We request that our guests use restroom facilities in their guestrooms to enhance physical distancing and safety. Access routes to your guestroom and to our dining areas will be signposted for your convenience.
Your Room Experience
Your guestroom will have been serviced to the highest standard of cleanliness with additional hygiene measures determined by the IHG Clean Promise. The room will be deep cleaned and sanitised after every stay to provide complete peace of mind, with a comprehensive focus on extra sanitisation of frequent touch points within your room and soft furnishings. After cleaning, the room will be sealed ensuring it is presented to you in its pristine condition. We will not enter your room during your stay with us to minimise guest to team member contact and will provide room servicing upon your request only. All non-essential collateral such as magazines and single use items such as pens and paper are removed from your guestroom for your additional comfort. All linen supplies by our laundry provider is thermally disinfected and delivered in sealed packaging.
Dining at Crowne Plaza Belfast
We will be providing full dining facilities during your stay. A continental and cooked Irish breakfast will be offered, with your favourite juices, cereals, pastries and cooked items. A full menu for all day dining and A la Carte evening meals will be served in The River Bar bistro, which is also open for the consumption of beverages. Social distancing is practiced in our dining areas and you are welcome to enjoy our external garden areas. Children’s meals will of course be offered. Please note The Green Room restaurant remains closed.
In order to safely manage physical distancing and minimise guest to guest contact, booking of your dining time will be necessary for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We will assist you with booking your meal periods in advance of arrival or upon arrival at the resort. Room service will also be available and in line with a procedure which minimises contact with our team members. All dining options, dining areas and service procedures are adapted to ensure physical distancing is maintained for your safety and comfort. Hand sanitising facilities will be provided at the entrance to each dining area for your convenience.
Guest Assistance & Enquiries
At all times, we will be here to assist you with any query you may have and will always do so in a safe manner by conducting guest queries by telephone where possible or by maintaining a physical distance of at least 2 metres . We will not enter your guestroom at any time unless requested to do so or except in the case of an emergency. Should you our team be required to enter your guestroom in an emergency or if you require first aid for any reason, appropriate PPE will always be worn by our team members.
Our Team Wellness and Training
The health and wellness of our team is important to us and important to you currently also. Our team have undergone extensive retraining in Covid-19 policies such as handwashing, handling goods and sickness and absence procedures. All our team have also completed health declarations and have their temperatures recorded upon commencement of work each day. We conduct daily shift briefings in each area of the hotel and our management team meet daily to review our safety and hygiene procedures.

When the sad time comes to leave us, full assistance will be provided to you upon check out where an express checkout facility will be available for your comfort.
